The smart classroom initiative aims to enhance digital learning by providing students with interactive and technology-enabled teaching tools, the school said.

Head of the institution Javaid Jawad introduced the speaker and encouraged students to cultivate reading and writing habits.

During the event, the university unveiled the AIL chatbot, a digital assistant designed to help users access information on library services, resource availability and facilities. 

Faculty members and senior residents from pre-clinical and para-clinical departments attended the programme, reflecting an interdisciplinary approach to curriculum reform.

Deputy Commissioner Budgam Athar Aamir Khan chaired a meeting to assess the mechanism for preparing the plan in line with existing regulations, including provisions under the Jammu and Kashmir Development Act, 1970, and related government orders.

The Jammu division of Northern Railway has registered bookings for 28 parcel vans to carry the fruit to Bandra Terminus, a railway official said. Each van has a capacity of 23 tonnes, with processing of the consignments currently underway.
