Under the 2026 cycle, students from Jammu and Kashmir who passed their Class 10 examinations this year are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

The Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiatives (SFPI) has opened applications for the Vidyadhan Scholarship 2026 for students in Jammu and Kashmir, expanding financial support for meritorious students from economically weaker families.
Founded in 1999 by Infosys co-founder S D Shibulal and Kumari Shibulal, the pan-India scholarship programme provides financial assistance to students from Class 11 through graduation.
The programme has so far supported more than 18,260 students across 23 states and Union Territories, including Ladakh, Kerala, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
Under the 2026 cycle, students from Jammu and Kashmir who passed their Class 10 examinations this year are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Principal Consultant at SFPI, Pankaj Tripathi, said the initiative also provides mentoring and internship opportunities to selected students in addition to financial assistance.
According to the notification, applicants must have secured at least 75 percent marks or 7.5 CGPA in the Class 10 examinations.
For students with disabilities, the eligibility benchmark has been relaxed to 65 percent marks or 6.5 CGPA.
The annual family income of applicants should not exceed Rs 2 lakh and must be certified by the concerned tehsildar, the notification said.
Selection of candidates will be conducted through an online test followed by interviews.
SFPI said the application process was free of cost and cautioned students against unauthorised agents or intermediaries.
Applicants are required to upload a passport-size photograph, Class 10 marksheet, income certificate and a valid email ID registered in the student’s name.
The last date for submission of applications is July 31, 2026.
Applications can be submitted online through Vidyadhan Scholarship Portal or via the SDF Vidya mobile application.
