Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday condemned attacks in the United Arab Emirates that injured three Indian nationals, calling the targeting of civilians and infrastructure “unacceptable.”
In a post on social media platform X, PM Modi said India stood in “firm solidarity” with the UAE and reiterated support for resolving regional tensions through dialogue and diplomacy.
He also stressed the importance of ensuring safe and uninterrupted navigation through the Strait of Hormuz, describing it as vital for regional stability and global energy security.
“Strongly condemn the attacks on the UAE that resulted in injuries to three Indian nationals. Targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable,” PM Modi said.
“India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy,” he said.
The prime minister said maintaining secure maritime routes in the Gulf was essential for “enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security.”
