The Jammu division of Northern Railway has registered bookings for 28 parcel vans to carry the fruit to Bandra Terminus, a railway official said. Each van has a capacity of 23 tonnes, with processing of the consignments currently underway.
The event, held on April 22 at the Cannon House Office Building, marked one year since the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 civilians were killed.
The event, held at the Botanical Garden in Srinagar, was organised by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) and drew participation from schoolchildren across multiple districts of the Kashmir valley.
