Former Srinagar Municipal Corporation commissioner and senior bureaucrat Ghazanfar Ali died on Thursday night at SMHS Hospital in Srinagar, his family said.
Ali suffered a major heart attack on May 18 and was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit, where he underwent treatment before being discharged.
His condition deteriorated on Thursday, and he died at about 10 pm, according to his family.
His death was mourned by colleagues, friends, relatives, and others who knew him.
