Chief Minister Omar Abdullah attended a two-day conference on financing India’s development, organised by the federal finance ministry, officials said.
The conference brought together state finance ministers and senior officials to discuss financing challenges and policy priorities linked to India’s development towards “Viksit Bharat”.
Abdullah attended the meeting along with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and representatives from several states and union territories.
Discussions also explored financial pathways for Jammu and Kashmir, with a focus on economic growth, agricultural transformation and renewable energy, the government said.
