Speaking at an event in Srinagar where sanction letters were handed over under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY)-IV, Abdullah said the scale of the approval was significant and would help transform connectivity in remote areas.
He said the federal government remained committed to supporting Jammu and Kashmir’s development, describing the region as key to India’s broader growth strategy.
Addressing the SCO Defence Ministers’ meeting in Kyrgyzstan, Singh said terrorism had “no nationality and no theology” and stressed that countries must adopt a firm, unified stance against the threat.
