The Cold Chain Asia and Kashmir Food Expo 2026 opened in Srinagar on Tuesday, bringing together businesses and stakeholders from the food processing, cold storage, packaging and hospitality sectors.
The three-day exhibition was inaugurated by Altaf Bukhari in the presence of industry representatives and trade officials, including Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Javid Ahmed Tenga.
Addressing the gathering, Bukhari said the event would help strengthen Kashmir’s cold chain infrastructure, warehousing systems and food processing industry.
He urged entrepreneurs, businesses and young professionals to engage with emerging technologies and investment opportunities showcased at the expo.
The exhibition features companies and exhibitors linked to food processing, packaging solutions, cold storage systems, spices and hospitality services, providing a platform for networking and business expansion.
The event is being held from May 5 to May 7 at the Fun Fair Mela Ground near Ansari Toyota on the Srinagar bypass and will remain open daily from 10 am to 6:30 p.m.
