The department also posted Dr Vinod Sharma as in-charge Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Kishtwar and Dr Sanjay Kumar Bhat as in-charge CMO of Bandipora.

Health and Medical Education Department on Wednesday ordered the transfer and posting of 22 doctors across government hospitals, medical colleges and administrative health units in the region, officials said.
According to an official order issued by the department, the reshuffle includes appointments to key administrative positions in district hospitals, government medical colleges and public health institutions across Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Sanjay Arora was deputed to Government Medical College Jammu as in-charge state malariologist, while Dr Rashmi Sharma was posted as in-charge epidemiologist against an available vacancy.
Dr Sunil Kailu was appointed in-charge superintendent of Government Hospital Sarwal in Jammu, while Dr Bashir Ahmad Malik was posted as in-charge assistant director for Family Welfare, Maternal and Child Health, and Immunisation in Kashmir.

Dr Bhajan Kour was appointed in-charge medical superintendent of Government Hospital Sarwal, Jammu, while Dr Monika Kotwal was posted as in-charge superintendent of Gousia Hospital Srinagar.
Dr Arshad Hussain Qadri was posted as in-charge medical superintendent of District Hospital Shopian.
Other appointments included Dr Karam Veer Singh as in-charge medical superintendent of District Hospital Reasi, Dr Sushma Mattoo as in-charge medical superintendent of Police Hospital Jammu, Dr Asif Ali Khanday as in-charge medical superintendent of Kashmir Nursing Home, and Dr Zahida Akhtar Gul as in-charge medical superintendent of Gousia Hospital Srinagar.
The order also reassigned several Block Medical Officers (BMOs). Dr Samina Nazir was appointed in-charge BMO Akhnoor, Dr Rumina Majeed as in-charge BMO Pattan, Dr Arshad Ali as in-charge BMO Khansahib, Dr Muhammad Ayoub as in-charge BMO Bijbehara, and Dr Muhammad Amin Mir as in-charge BMO Kupwara.
In Poonch district, Dr Ghazala was posted as in-charge BMO Mendhar, while Dr Muhammad Azam, district health officer of Poonch, was given additional charge of district tuberculosis officer.
Dr Sham Lal was posted as in-charge BMO Bishnah and Dr Shahid Hussain was transferred as health officer to the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The department said all assignments were temporary and subject to the outcome of pending court cases, if any.
The transferred officers were relieved from their current postings with immediate effect and directed to join their new assignments without delay, the order said.
The department also instructed the Directors of Health Services for Jammu and Kashmir divisions to submit compliance reports within three days.
