A seven-year-old girl died after being hit by a vehicle in Srinagar’s Barbar Shah area on Sunday, officials said.
The girl, identified as Sidra, daughter of Sajad Ahmad of Bihar, was critically injured after being struck by the vehicle, an official said.
She was taken to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival, the official said.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident and launched an investigation, he said.
