Petrol, diesel prices hiked by 90 paise per litre

In Delhi, petrol prices were raised by 87 paise and diesel by 91 paise per litre.

Petrol and diesel prices were increased by around 90 paise per litre on Tuesday, marking the second hike in fuel rates in less than a week.

In the national capital, petrol prices rose to Rs 98.64 per litre from Rs 97.77, while diesel prices increased to Rs 91.58 per litre from Rs 90.67, according to industry sources.

The latest revision follows a Rs 3-per-litre increase announced on Friday.

In Delhi, petrol prices were raised by 87 paise and diesel by 91 paise per litre.

Mumbai saw petrol prices rise by 91 paise to Rs 107.59 per litre, while diesel increased by 94 paise to Rs 94.08 per litre.

In Kolkata, petrol recorded the steepest increase among major metros, rising by 96 paise to Rs 109.70 per litre. Diesel prices there rose by 94 paise to Rs 96.07 per litre.

Chennai recorded an 82-paise increase in petrol prices to Rs 104.49 per litre, while diesel prices rose by 86 paise to Rs 96.11 per litre.
