University of Kashmir (KU) on Monday extended the deadline for submission of online application forms for admission to its B Tech and M Tech programmes until May 21, the university said on Monday.

In a statement, the Directorate of Admissions and Competitive Examinations (DACE) said the extension applied to admissions advertised under Notification Nos. 7 and 8 of 2026 dated April 21.

The university said the decision was taken following repeated requests from applicants who were unable to submit their forms earlier for various reasons.

The deadline for submission of applications as well as updating eligibility details has now been extended until May 21, 2026, it said.

The directorate said that candidates who had already applied but had not updated their eligibility details could also complete the process before the revised deadline.

“No further extension or updation of any kind would be allowed after the said date,” the university said in the statement.
