Jammu, Aug 18
The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has shifted its Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi holiday to August 26 from August 25, while declaring August 25 a non-sitting day.
In a notification issued by Registrar General M K Sharma, the court said August 25, which had earlier been listed as a holiday for Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, would instead be observed as a non-sitting day.
The court declared August 26, Wednesday, a holiday instead of August 25.
The notification also changed the status of December 19, 2026, which had previously been declared a non-sitting day.
The date will now be a working day for the court instead of August 25.
The changes were notified to all concerned by the High Court administration.
