Itoo highlighted that the present dispensation is focused on providing better infrastructure and modern facilities in educational institutions to create a conducive learning environment.

She said sustained efforts are being made to enhance the teaching standards and expand educational opportunities for the students.

The minister stressed the importance of using technology positively and productively.

She exhorted the students to optimally harness the digital tools for learning, innovation and personal growth while avoiding their misuse.

Highlighting the pivotal role of teachers, Itoo said the educators must identify and nurture the unique talents of every student while also understanding and addressing the challenges they face.

She called upon the teachers, parents and educational institutions to work collectively in shaping the future of young learners.

Itoo said that continuous efforts were being made to provide more facilities and create an inclusive, future-ready education system that empowers the students to succeed in every sphere of life.

Earlier, Itoo visited SMHS Hospital here early morning to enquire about the health condition of two school children who sustained injuries in a road accident at Negoo Brenwar Budgam.

The minister arrived at the hospital in the early hours and met the injured girl students undergoing treatment at the hospital. She personally interacted with each child and their attendants, taking stock of their health status and the medical care being provided.

Expressing concern over the incident, she conveyed her sympathies to the affected families and assured them that the Government is closely monitoring the situation.

“The government stands with the affected families in this difficult hour. No effort will be spared for the speedy recovery of the children,” Itoo said.
