Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday visited the headquarters of the National Testing Agency to review arrangements for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, which was held across the country.
Officials briefed the minister on examination logistics, centre coordination and monitoring systems put in place to manage large-scale participation and ensure smooth conduct of the test.
According to officials, nearly 23 lakh candidates appeared for the examination conducted at centres nationwide under strict security and operational protocols.
NEET-UG, one of India’s largest entrance examinations, serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate medical and allied health science programmes including MBBS and BDS.
