Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday chaired the seventh meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir’s Wildlife Board, reviewing key conservation and development proposals, officials said.

The board approved a proposal for construction of the Asha-Cheema-Gurdaligali-Aphrawat-Sarson-Anita road through the Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary. The project will now be referred to the Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife for statutory clearance.
