The Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered the transfer and posting of three senior officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) with immediate effect, an official order said on Monday.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has ordered the transfer and posting of three senior officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) with immediate effect, an official order said on Monday.
The order, issued by the General Administration Department on behalf of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, said the changes were made in the interest of administration.
Ranjit Singh, Special Secretary in the Home Department, has been transferred to the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat in the same capacity.
Vaibhav Kohli, currently Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, has been appointed as Excise Commissioner, replacing Subash Chander Chhibber, who has been directed to await further orders.
Sunil Sharma, Additional Secretary in the Home Department, has been moved to the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat as Additional Secretary.
