The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B Ed courses for the 2026-27 academic session across centres in Jammu and Srinagar, officials said.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to B Ed courses for the 2026-27 academic session across centres in Jammu and Srinagar, officials said.
The examination was held at designated centres including the Government College of Education in Srinagar and the Government MAM College in Jammu, with 351 candidates appearing out of 501 applicants.
Authorities said arrangements were made in coordination with college administrations and law enforcement agencies to ensure smooth conduct of the test, under the supervision of BOPEE Chairperson Minu Mahajan.
Officials reported that the examination concluded without any untoward incidents, with staff overseeing procedures at all centres.
Senior BOPEE officials, including the chairperson and examination authorities, monitored the process at both locations and thanked district administrations for their support in conducting the test smoothly.
