Jammu, June 4

The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Secretariat will convene the introductory meeting of the House Committee on Environment on Friday at the Legislative Assembly Complex in Srinagar.

According to an official bulletin, the meeting will be held at 11 am under the chairmanship of CPI (M) legislator Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami in the Assembly’s Meeting Hall.

The Secretariat has requested committee members Prof Gharu Ram, Sajad Gani Lone, Baldev Raj Sharma, Dalep Singh, Showkat Hussain Ganai, Javaid Ahmad Mirchal, Sajjad Shafi, Salman Sagar, Javaid Riyaz (Bedar), Rameshwar Singh and Devyani Rana to attend the meeting.

The Assembly Secretariat has also directed the concerned departments to make necessary arrangements, including security, uninterrupted power supply, sound systems and media coverage, for the smooth conduct of the meeting.
